Galil ace
The IWI Galil ACE Pistol is a gas piston-operated modern iteration of the rifle first developed in the 60s by the Israel Military Industries (IMI) as a weapon with the reliability of the AK-47 but the accuracy of the M-16 and FAL. Over the last 40 years, this robust weapon has been continuously improved and today’s version is a thoroughly modern version of that original legendary rifle.
The reciprocating charging handle has been moved to the left side of the receiver for off-hand manipulation without moving the shooting hand. Weight has been reduced with the use of modern polymers and compatibility with friendly forces was achieved with the use of NATO standard STANAG magazines.
A full-length, 2 piece Picatinny rail allows for the use of modern optics and the Picatinny tri-rail forearm uses slide on/off covers with pressure switch access. The Galil ACE comes with fully adjustable iron sights and a Tritium front post for low light target acquisition. A rocking dust cover keeps the internals free of grit and the Ambi safeties and mag release buttons allow for left or right-handed use. Outback, a folding SB Tactical pistol brace allows for compact storage and controlled one-handed use.
